Can You Bring Water into Disneyland

While many people ask if they can bring food into Disneyland, there are thousands of others who are always asking, “Can you bring water bottles into Disneyland?”.  The answer is actually yes to both questions! You can take both food and water into Disneyland!

Now that you know the good news of being able to bring water bottles into Disneyland, you need to be aware of one of the rules when it comes to the Disneyland water bottle policy.

That one rule is that you cannot bring in any of the reusable glass bottles that are becoming more and more popular since they are BPA free.  While those glass water bottles are wonderful for the environment and you, they are considered a prohibited item by Disneyland. In fact, you cannot take anything made out of glass into the park at any time, unless you happen to still find a jar of baby food made from glass.

Now, this does leave a plethora of other reusable water bottle options for you to choose from, so feel free to visit your local retail store and stock up on a few of your favs.

The best part about taking these reusable Disneyland water bottles is that you can have one bottle per person and just keep refilling it throughout the day.  There are numerous water fountains scattered throughout the theme park, so every time you see one, you can simply add water to your water bottle.

You can also ask any staff member at the quick service restaurants if you can have a free cup or two of water and then empty that cup into your water bottle.

If you do not want to go the reusable Disneyland water bottle route, you can always choose to take sealed water bottles with you.  The downside to doing this is that you would need to take a few bottles per person and those bottles will be quite heavy to carry around with you all day.

To alleviate the weight issue, you can always store some of those water bottles in a locker and return to retrieve them when you are nearby.  However, that scenario can become problematic when you are out of water and are nowhere near your locker.

Of course, you could label those store-bought water bottles with each person’s name and then simply refill them when they are empty.  It is completely up to you.

Anyone that doesn’t have refillable water bottles, or who doesn’t want to go and purchase water bottles from the store, can always take a regular cup or mug with them.  This cup or mug obviously must be plastic or another material besides glass, but it is an excellent way to drink water throughout the day without paying for it. You wouldn’t really be able to carry water around with you though, and you would be dependent on drinking only when you were near a water fountain or a quick service restaurant.

You are going to love the fact that you can take water bottles into Disneyland with you, as long as you follow the Disneyland water bottle policy.  Since it is a fairly simple policy, you shouldn’t have any issues with it, and you can easily drink from your Disneyland water bottles all day long!
