No, that isn’t a long name for just one ride; three Disneyland roller coasters tie for the second fastest at 40 mph. Radiator Springs Racers features ride vehicles that look like actual cars. If you want to experience the fictional town of Radiator Springs, climb into one of these racers and take a joyride through the desert.

Now here’s one for you log-flume-lovers. Splash Mountain is based on the 1946 film Song of the South featuring legendary characters such as Br’er Rabbit, Bre’r Fox, Bre’r Bear, and Tar Baby. Careening down steep drops and through briars at 40 mph brings back fond memories of this antiquated tale.

Lastly, if you loved the group of misfit heroes represented in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as well as quick, breath-taking drops, you’ll love this ride. Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! features our little raccoon friend recruiting riders to help free the other guardians – and all of this takes place in an accelerated drop tower. 4. Goofy’s Sky School and Matterhorn Bobsleds

Based on the 1940s and 50s Goofy episodes, this glider takes you three stories up into the air on a wild ride similar to your typical wild mouse rides. On the other hand, the Matterhorn Bobsleds takes you on a giant alpine sledding ride at 27 mph around cliffs, rocks, caves, and dangerous precipices.
