Africa is the second largest continent in the world and is made up of 54 sovereign countries and 10 territories. The continent is bordered in the North by the Mediterranean Sea, in the west by the Atlantic Ocean, in the Northeast by the Red Sea and in the Southeast by the Indian Ocean.

The territories which are geographically located on the African include Canary Island (Spain), Madeira Islands (Portugal), Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha (UK), Ceuta (Spain), Melilla (Spain), Mayotte (France), Pelagie Islands (Italy), Plazas de soberania (Spain), Reunion (France), Socotra (Yemen)
