Caribbean is a sub-region of the North American continent consisting of the Caribbean Sea and islands surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and/or North Atlantic Ocean. The Caribbeans share general borders and boundaries with the Gulf of Mexico, North American Mainland, Central America, South America, Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea but is located mainly between North and South America.
